Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Amin, MBChB, MA, PhD<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Director<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ahmed is a licensed Medical Doctor with the Iraqi Medical Association and Kurdistan Medical Association. He holds Bachelor degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB), Master degree in Health Management, Planning and Policy and PhD degree in Community Medicine. He also completed a two- year part-time study in Human Rights, Multicultural Understanding and Conflict Management, in addition to his participation in several courses on health, public health, mental health and human rights related matters.<\/p>\n

Ahmed is one of the Founders and the Director of Wchan Organization for Victims of Human Rights Violations, a national Kurdish human rights NGO that operates in Iraq but mainly in Kurdistan region. He has been working in the field of health and human rights for than 20 years.<\/p>\n

Mr. Salah Hassan Rahim<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Mental Health Director and Training Coordinator <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mr. Salah Hassan Rahim is one of the founders and members of Board of Director of Wchan Organization for Victims of Human Rights Violations. Mr. Salah holds Bachelor degree in Management from the University of Sulaymaniyah, a Diploma degree in nursing from the Sulaymaniyah Medical Institute \/ Iraq. He also has a Diploma degree in “Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy” which was conducted by Umea University and sponsored by Diakonia, a Sweden organization, in Duhok governorate of Iraq.<\/p>\n

Mr. Salah participated in several training courses related to mental health interventions including individual and group therapies. Interventions such as CBT, CPT, CETA, NET, PM+, EMDR, TF-CBT, and others. Mr. Salah is responsible for supervising clinical staff of Wchan Organization monitors program performance in consultation with other clinical and management staff.\u00a0 One of his main duties is developing training materials on mental health and psychosocial topics and acts as a main trainer during training courses and workshops.<\/p>\n

Mr. Salah is one of the few certified trainer in Iraq in \u201cCommon Elements Treatment Approach CETA\u201d intervention. He is also co-chairing the MHPSS working group in Sulaymaniyah governorate.<\/p>\n

She works as a Clinical Supervisor at Wchan Organization. She has over 20 years of experience\u00a0in the field of mental health and psychosocial support services. She is graduated from the Psychology Department of the University of Mosul, Iraq. Mr. Mohammed Azeez Raheem is a Clinical Supervisor and one of the main trainers at Wchan Organization for Victims of Human Rights Violations. He holds a Master degree in Clinical Psychology, Bachelor degree in psychology-counseling, Diploma degree in “Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy”, and also has a Diploma degree in nursing.<\/p>\n

Mr. Mohammed has over 15 years of experience\u00a0in mental health counseling and therapies. He participated in several training courses on various mental health interventions and supervision. He is a Trainer in Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) intervention.<\/p>\n

Case Management Supervisor \/ Project Coordinator<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mr. Omer Yassin Qader is one of the members of Board of Director of Wchan Organization for victims of human rights violations. He works as a Case Management Supervisor and Project Coordinator.<\/p>\n

Mr. Omer graduated from the Sociology Department of the University of Sulaimani, Iraq. He has over 18 years of experience\u00a0in the field of social worker, psychosocial\u00a0support, mental health, human rights, advocacy, and project\u00a0management. He also completed a two-year part-time course on \u201cOrganizational Management\u201d, which was supported by Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) organization. The course covered the topics related to organization structure, Human resources, planning, conflict management, child protection, mediation, and human rights.<\/p>\n

Mr. Tarik is the Administrator and Human Resource Manager for Wchan Organization for Victims of Human Rights Violations. He has been working in that position for more than 7 years.<\/p>\n

Mr. Tarik holds a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Geography from Baghdad University, College of Arts. He participated in several training courses in Iraq and United Kingdoms on a range of topics including management, human resource administration, and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n

Sherzad Husen is one of the members of Board of Director of Wchan Organization for victims of human rights violations. He works as a Project Coordinator.<\/p>\n

Sherzad holds Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering \u2013 Salahaddin University in Erbil. In addition to engineering work, he has over 20 years of experience\u00a0in humanitarian work with national and international Non \u2013governmental organizations.<\/p>\n

He has completed Management Training Course at Mahidol University in Bangkok -Thailand. The training course covered the topics of (Information Management, Human Resource Management, Logistic Management, Finance, Organization Management and Project Management) also he completed a training course on Quality Management System \u00a0in 2014 which covered the topics of (ISO 9001 :2008\u00a0 awareness, documentation and\u00a0\u00a0 Internal Auditing).<\/p>\n
